This template formats a citation on Wikisource:References to Wikisource.
The documentation wording assumes that a published book is citing Wikisource as that is expected to be the most common situation. However, the template will function equally well with other potential citing publications (for example, newspaper or magazine articles, academic papers, websites, etc.)

- chapter: The name of a specific chapter within the book in which the Wikisource work has been cited. For use in cases where separate authors have written separate sections of the book (for example, mutliple essays collected in one edition).
- chapternum: The number of the chapter. (Only displayed if

- isbn: The ISBN number of the book.
- deleted: To be used if the work on Wikisource has been deleted since it was referenced in the book. Any text entered in this parameter will cause the phrase "(since deleted)" to appear after the title of the work.

Cosmetic
[sunting]- edition: Replaces the word edition in the default text
- qualifier: Adds text before the author and title of the Wikisource work. For use to when a specific edition or specific section, chapter or similar subdivision has been cited within the work.
- article: Inserted before the title, to provide the definite article ("the") or similar to the default text.
- collectionarticle: Inserted before the title of a collection, to provide the definite article ("the") or similar to the default text. (Only displayed if
collection
is used.) - quote: Adds text in an indented line below the default text. To give further information or an extract from the citing book if relevant to do so.
